My Newest Love

Hello everyone!

I got quite a deal on this gorgeous Santos Cage Doll.  I recently started thinking about getting one after seeing them in some homes that I liked.  I like them best in a grey and white serene setting.  So, since that is my color scheme, I thought it would be fitting to have one of my own!

I love how distressed and old she looks.  She is really just a reproduction of the authentic ones.

She looks great in so many places, but I think I like her here best.  I'm sure she will visit other areas of the house in the future though.  LOL!

In this location, you can see her on all sides.

Of course, this means that I changed the top of this dresser up to accommodate her.

But, I don't mind a bit.  I'm happy to have her.  I'm not a doll person, but I like this style.  She seems more sculptural and more like a piece of art than a "doll" to me.

I enjoyed reading up on the history of the Santos doll too.  If you are interested, here is the link.

Hope you enjoyed your visit here today.

Thanks for stopping by!

Love your Santos doll!! She looks great where you have her displayed. My sister has one that she got while on vacation in Tennessee. I thought about getting one, but I haven't seen any in the shops or store around here.
