Vintage Charm Collection

Have you seen the new Vintage Charm Collection at Target yet?  It's been designed by James Gallagher for the Fall season.  I really love it!  I thought I'd share some pictures of it and show you  some of the pieces I already have.



 

He also has a nice kitchen collection.



See what I mean?

I recently bought this vintage looking stool.  I fell in love with the burlap top and rustic legs. 


Here is what the top of the stool looks like.


 You know I love burlap with french writing on it!!

So, of course I fell in love with this burlap lamp shade.  The price was much cheaper than those I've seen elsewhere too.



The writing is on the front and back side of the shade.

The item that started my interest in this collection was this green bottle with an aged wine label on it.  I placed it on my mantel.



I may go back and get the medium size later.  The one above is the small size.  They all have different labels on them.

For my kitchen, I chose these kitchen towels and oven mitt.  They remind me of an old striped grain sack.  I've seen these featured on other peoples blogs too. 




Well, there you have it.  It's been awhile since Target has come out with a new collection that made a big impression on me.  I figured you'd want to know about it too, if you didn't already.  Do you have a favorite?

    OMG Kelly I'm in Target all the time and haven't see this their yet, because If I had something would have hopped into my cart LOL! Is it in a certain section? Love that foot stool! Martina

    I love that new line too. I better stay out, I will want the entire collection, and that just is not in the budget! I will be eating pizza for a long time, if you know what I mean LOL! I do love it though!

    Thanks so much for this post...I just recently bought the towel you have in the last picture. I love it. I didn't however see all the other things at Target...now I will have to go look. I love the stool and the lamp shade!! Was the stool pricey?

    I'm in love with that collection! I bought the grain sack kitchen towel! I've got to back and get those baskets when my fella is not with me!haha! Have you seen there surveyor lamps, too?!!! I love those too!

    I noticed some similar items ....like the burlap lampshade written in French....at a local Stein Mart! LOVE that look!! Loved ALL your pretty things!

    the other day I saw an ad for that stool, I think in my latest House Beautiful mag...I had to blink my eyes...was it really Target?? It is so surprising to see stuff like this at that store, they really have some marketing genius over there. I love all the pieces you got..!

    I love those items too. but how did you get that on the lamp shade. I have a very old (40 yrs) burlap shade I would love to do.

    I bought the burlap bench yesterday to use in my bathroom for a vanity stool...also bought one of the "grain sack" towels...I wanted to get the green bottle with french label but didn't, but will probably go back and pick up a couple for myself. I love this collection!

    I was finally catching up on some TV that I recorded and saw the commercials for this new line at Target. Target has certainly come a long way. I think all this is lovely...especially the stool. It's featured on the commercial so I expect it will sell out. You were smart to get yours early! Lovely photos too. Have a wonderful Sunday!

    I loved the stool so much I bought two... everything is better in pairs :)

    and I have the lampshade and wish I bought more. they are so worth the price.
