Hello everyone!
While everyone else was watching the Superbowl last Sunday, I was painting numbers on chairs in my kitchen!
It all started because I was browsing Pinterest and came across this picture.
I love kitchens that have a farmhouse/industrial vibe to them. So this one caught my eye. I noticed that the chairs weren't all that special, but how they were numbered were!
So, I decided to embark on my own adventure and add numbers to my chairs too.
Well...........you get the idea!
I love how it turned out. It didn't cost a dime either. I already had the number stencils and the black craft paint.
I went ahead and removed my chandelier shades until my new barn light comes in. I hope I like it here. I don't usually purchase a light fixture without seeing it in person.
And, because I couldn't leave well enough alone, I changed up the vignette on my grey cabinet too.
Do you decorate with numbers too?
Thanks for stopping by!

Cute idea and love the new vignette. Funny, I have removed the shades from my chandy, too and have ordered new sleeves for the kitchen one and have already replaced the ones in the master bath. Looks so much better.
ReplyDeleteI love numbers and especially the number 9 or any combination of the number 9... like 63.
ReplyDeleteYour chairs look just great!
Cute idea Kelly! I painted my youngest daughters toy chest last year black and stenciled numbers on it. I still love the way it looks! Your new vignette looks so pretty!

How cute those numbers look on your chairs! I haven't decorated with numbers, but I have been thinking about painting something with numbers for my booth.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy using numbers around my house. I have two numbered stools in my kitchen and I handful of other numbers scattered around the house.
ReplyDeleteI like the style of the numbers Kelly. They're not your typical font. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteI love the numbers Kelly! They look like they were always meant to be there. :-) Can't wait to see your new light fixture!

Very cute Kelly...I think your chairs would look really nice distressed a little to add to your farmhouse look. I love your chandy...what will you do with it once you get your new light?
ReplyDeleteYou are so clever! Now we will ALL be numbering our chairs! That grey cabinet is still one of my favorite things - of ALL the many things you have done! Buying some paint is on my agenda! Painting will have to wait til April.
ReplyDeleteAnd WHAT??? You didn't watch the Super Bowl??? I am amazed!
I like how our chairs turned out, adds a touch of fun to the room.

Cute idea...and the fact that it was free is even better! Love it when you can make such a dramatic statement without having to spend a ton...well done!
ReplyDeleteLove this idea Kelly. Adds that rustic farmhouse touch.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! I actually just bought zinc tags to hang from the baskets in my kitchen. I planned to number them and then keep a log of what is in each basket, they are very high up, and I need a ladder to get to them. I'll post soon about this.

They look great, Kelly. I did this with our old dining room IKEA chairs, but sold them recently. The new owner loved the 1,2,3, and 4.
