Hello everyone!
I wanted to share some tranquil beach pics with you. This is from our summer vacation that we just got back home from. We stayed at the Ocean Villa Club on Butler Beach, FL near St. Augustine.
These were taken at dusk, so the beach was pretty empty and the temps were very nice!
This is the boardwalk that took us to and from the beach from the condo.
These are the condo units. As you can see, there is even shuffle board available.
Here is the swimming pool near the boardwalk that goes to the beach. There was another one located next to the tennis courts on the other side of the complex too.
Everyone was gone eating dinner at this time of night! It quickly filled back up after dark though.
There was a retention pond not far from our unit that you could hear frogs croaking at night. It was really loud! Luckily, they stopped before we went to bed. LOL!
Looking at these pics, makes me wish I was back there right now!
Did you go on a summer vacation? If so, where?
Thanks for stopping by.
~ Kelly ~
Wonderful beach pictures! We went to Chattanooga for a few days in June. Not sure if we are going anywhere else this summer.
ReplyDeleteOh this looks so relaxing! Don't you wish you could bottle up the sound of the waves crashing and play it over and over? Well, I guess you could get a sound machine. LOL! Love the boardwalk taking you to and from the beach. Thanks for sharing these beautiful pics!
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful. Love those white sand beaches. :)
ReplyDeleteI wish we could go to the beach this year...but instead we went to Italy, and May is not warm enough to go swimming. Maybe later in the summer we'll get a chance to go for a few days
ReplyDeleteThis looks so much like where I live. I'm on the coast of SC..I love the beach.. I am sure you and your family enjoyed your vacation very much! I would love some sunny days by the beach myself.. if the clouds would go away..
ReplyDeleteOh, that just looks dreamy! I wanna go!! :)

Looks wonderful! We leave on Friday for Vancouver island. We can't wait to play in the sand and hunt for shells!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots and no.
ReplyDeleteThat would be a fun vacation! We went on a Caribbean cruise this summer, so lots of beach time also.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Love the fence. You know I'd have loved to see those birds and photograph them.

Great pics, Kelly! We are in Florida right now. We started in Miami, moved on to Ft. Lauderdale, and now, we are in Naples. Nothing like beach vacations for us!
ReplyDeleteWow Kelly that is lovely! I have family from Florida visiting that area now!We took a trip to Disney and I still have not shared it on my blog yet.I have been super busy not sure if I will or not.And as hot as it was I would go back there in a second!

Beautiful pics Kelly! We didn't go on vacation this year. We just had a stay-cation. Your pictures remind me of the scenese we see at Emerald Isle, NC where we usually vacation. It felt like a mini vacation on your blog. Thanks! *wink
ReplyDeleteSeeing the fences and the dunes used to always make me think of the Atlantic Ocean. But, 2 years ago the city installed similar fences on our little patch of California coastline. Seriously, those photos of the beach could have been of our beach.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a wonderful spot for a vacation.
Kelly, Your pictures of the beach are wonderful! We won't be taking a real vacation this year though we do plan on a couple of weekend trips.

Your dune images are beautiful. We vacation at our yellow house only. Owning two houses prohibits travel for us but we love our yellow house and garden so we do not mind a bit.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!! We took a trip to Tennessee back in May and would love to go back there in the Fall.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Cindy
Ah, such lovely photos!!! I love the beach and haven't painted a seascape or a beach in a long time!! I just may have to paint one soon! Loved the fence/beach/sea grass/water one the best of all. What a great vacation!!
ReplyDeleteI love the sound of froggies...and crickets....I must be weird but I find it so peaceful and relaxing!! LOL..great pics
ReplyDeleteGreat pics Kel...made me homesick for the beach..looks so relaxing..Didn't go anywhere this summer..Haven't been away for awhile..
ReplyDeleteKelly your beach vacation makes me long for the sea! Beautiful pictures. Nothing like the sound of waves and an ocean breeze to bring peace to your soul! We went to St. Augustine in March for my nieces wedding. Just updated my living room in my interpretation of Coastal Cottage Chic. Thanks for popping by and welcoming me back to blogland!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a fabulous vacation! The beach and resort areas are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
