Country Living Fair 2013

Hello everyone!

This weekend I went to the Country Living Fair in Stone Mountain, GA for the first time.  It was a lot of fun.  There was so much to see!  I brought along my camera to share pics with those of you who didn't get to go.  Ready to go shopping?

I went with these 3 fun ladies.  My sister KimShirley, and Laura.

We walked up to the gate to buy our tickets.

Then, this is what we saw upon entering.

Then, we walked around to visit all the booths.
(Warning!  Lots of pictures ahead.)

There were homemade breads.

And homemade Halloween treats.

We all bought something sweet to snack on from this booth.  I bought a white chocolate and cranberry cookie!

This was my favorite booth!

It was full of creamy white and grey with chippy paint and rust.

Check out that wonderful old clock face and chair.  It was hard to leave this booth.

Do you feel like you got to come along?

Come back another day and I'll show you what came home with me!

Thanks for stopping by!

~ Kelly ~

  8. hey Kelly!

we went Saturday and believe it or not ran into kim and Shirley! I went up to introduce myself and said I was judy from southern hospitality! I couldn't believe how goofy that was...I felt so stupid! I've since e-mailed them to tell them I am Gracious Southern LIving!

First thing I asked Kim was where you were and she said you went Friday. Good grief, I'm so tired...we had 2 hours of driving today back to my sister's in Talladega and then another 2 hours home to Montgomery...I'm going to take my bath and go to bed.

I recognized a lot of those booths. I didn't buy a lot...it was hard to get into some of those booths.

Can't wait to see what you bought!

  27. Looks like y'all had a great time and perfect weather! I can't wait to see the lovely things you brought home. That homemade bread is making me want to bake some right now. :) I have a quick recipe that only takes 2 hours from the time you start to pull out your ingredients until you're sitting down enjoying freshly baked bread. Think I'll go make some now...

  30. Kelly,

This looks divine! There are many things that I could picture in my house or my shop. But the one that really caught my eye was the scalloped table with the column supporting it. It is in the photo that you said was of your fave shop. Thanks for sharing. Makes me excited to go to our flea this coming weekend.
