Hello everyone!
Well, it looks like Atlanta, and it's surrounding cities, will be hit with snow and ice this week. Look out!
It came at a bad time too. I had something exciting planned this week it is getting postponed. Hopefully, the bad weather won't last too long.
We're expecting bad weather to come in tonight and last through Wednesday.
Hopefully, our roads won't become too treacherous for travel. The ice is the scary part. I don't want to lose power! I live in North GA where we tend to get more of the bad weather too.
I sent my husband to the store this morning for necessities just in case too! He will be working at the fire station throughout much of this so I won't have him to help me out at home.
On a better note, I will be taking my son to see a specialist today. I'm so excited to begin getting him proper medical treatment. He has been hobbling around ever since we picked him up last week. It's very unusual to see him like that. I'll let you know what the diagnosis is. So, today is going to be a long day!
How is your week starting off? Better than mine, I hope!
Thanks for stopping by.
~ Kelly ~
It's a usual Monday. We are not expected to get any ice this time. Amen! Good luck in the ATL area. I hope the government officials take it seriously this time.
ReplyDeleteI just hope we don't lose power!!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you are having crazy weather again.
ReplyDeleteGood luck at the specialist and drive carefully on those roads.
Oh dear, the snow in the US is out of control. Please stay safe. Hope your son feels better
ReplyDeleteWe are getting hit here in NC too. It started snowing an hour ago. Our forecast calls for 4-5 inches of snow over the next three days, with possible ice.
ReplyDeleteStay safe!
Kelly,
ReplyDeleteI hope the weather is not too bad for you. I know you guys are not use to this stuff. We have had are share and then some up here in Chicago area too. The ice is the worse. Hope you get some great news on your son and a good treatment plan to have him back to normal soon. Good luck.
Kris
We got more snow this past weekend and we have the bitter temps again. They are saying we might get some now snow and frozen mix this coming weekend. With all the snow totals...we have gotten 41 inches of snow so far. Guess the bright side is that we didn't get all 41 inches at one time.
ReplyDeleteHope you get some answers for your son and that he will be all better real soon.
hugs,
Cindy

ReplyDeletePraying for your son. Be careful going out. I hope you never loss power either. That is always my worse fear, in nasty weather. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you don't lose power. I can't believe what a cold winter this has been for everyone. Good luck at the specialist. I'm sure they'll be able to put your son on the road to recovery. Sending prayers your way for safe travels and good health. :) Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteStay safe...we are expecting another storm Wednesday into Thursday. Keep us posted on your son!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter predicted months ago that there would be bad weather in Atlanta Wednesday. It is her birthday and there is always something terrible that happens every year no matter where she lives. I hope it isn't as bad as they think it is going to be. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteWe're supposed to see a wintry mix here in North Texas tonight. Hopefully, it won't be anything major. Wishing your son well, too!!
ReplyDeleteI hope your son gets good news on his condition and starts feeling better soon, Kelly.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your son. I hope they can figure out what is going on with him. It is always scary to have something wrong with our kids.
ReplyDeleteI pray that you don't get hit too bad with the snow/ice there. We are used to it here and have the equipment and vehicles to drive in it. It's a whole different world where you are- xo Diana

ReplyDeleteI hope we do not loose power for a long time or for any time. We have a gas fireplace and will have heat but many here do not and I worry about them. I am certainly not getting in a car. I am glad you are getting your kiddo to the doctor. CC has been sick in Korea. When she finally got medicine the pharmacy was closed over the weekend. Makes me grateful for the USA. xo, olive
