Hello everyone!
Did you all have a nice holiday weekend? It was relatively quiet at our house. My husband had to work (and my older son) so we didn't do a whole lot here. It rained off and on as well, but did let up just enough for fireworks. Now that fireworks are legal in GA, there were a lot more being set off! You could definitely tell that everyone had been shopping for them this weekend.
I wanted to share a new clock that I recently received. I found it at Antique Farmhouse.
I decided to hang it above my fireplace. I think everything new ends up over the mantel so I can enjoy it more.
Of course, along with the new clock, I made some changes to other areas of the room. I changed up the accessories in the armoire. I added some natural elements such as wicker, antlers and faux succulents.
I also switched up some pillows on my sofa. Now that I can access them more easily, I love how easy it is to change them around when I want to!
I also changed up the centerpiece on my coffee table. Simple faux lambs ear in a glass container fit the bill.
I'm enjoying the subtle changes.
Hope you have a great week!
Thanks for stopping by.

The clock is perfect, Kelly! I can imagine that staying there for a long time. The whole room is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI've always loved your living room, Kelly! The clock looks clean and fresh above the mantel for a simple, summer look. Happy day-after-the-fourth! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly- love your new clock and all your little changes.
ReplyDeleteYou know that faux Lamb's Ear looks so real - you should consider getting some little pebbles or shells to "plunk them down in" or something to hide the bottoms of the faux plastic bits- no one would ever know they were fake then!
Well done, ma'am, looks great!
I LOVE that clock......
ReplyDeleteLove your new clock! That's the perfect spot for it. The other changes are nicely done as well. So much fun isn't it?! I'm watching the USA women's soccer right now and they're doing well. Hopefully they win and that'll be a perfect ending to your long weekend! Have a super week! Diane
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing clock! It looks like it was created just for your lovely room!

Its funny how a fabulous clock starts a chain reaction of changes!!
ReplyDeleteLove the clock Kelly and your livingroom!
ReplyDeleteGreat purchase! That space was beconning a large clock!
ReplyDeleteyour new clock is wonderful, and you have the perfect fireplace to show it off!
ReplyDeleteYour new clock is a perfect addition and I love the softness of the lamb's ear, one of my faves. Fireworks are illegal to use in Wisconsin, but it's legal to buy them (because that makes sense? lol). However, the police look the other way most of the time and there are plenty of home fireworks to be seen and heard. Have a happy upcoming week! Jane
ReplyDeletelove the clock and what you did in the room but one thing in the armoire the top left looks a little small and the next one down looks a little to big to me. that is the first thing that I thought of when I saw it.
ReplyDeleteLove the new clock. It's perfect on the mantel. I always enjoy peeks of your home Kelly. So beautiful! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteLove your new clock Kelly! It creates the perfect focal point in your space. The black and white looks so clean and fresh.

ReplyDeleteThat clock DEFINITELY had your name on it. It looks perfect over the mantle!
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling with your pillow closet, we are going to see more pillow changes in your future ;).
It rained here a little bit too and we didn't see any fireworks, but we had some good times with friends and got some stuff done around the house when it rained.
I love your new clock hanging over your fireplace, Kelly! I scrolled back through some of your previous posts and love the changes you've made recently, like your painted stairs and new industrial look kitchen faucet. You keep things fresh by changing them around!
ReplyDeleteYour new clock looks perfect over your mantel, Kelly! Very pretty room.

ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen the faux lamb's ear. But it sure is pretty!

Love that clock! I think you're smart to put it above the mantel so you can enjoy it more. I tend to do that too. I'll give my new purchases the "prime real estate" spot at least for awhile, or until my next purchase bumps them out. :)
ReplyDeleteAs usual, EVERYTHING looks lovely!
ReplyDeletegorgeous as always!!!!
ReplyDeleteCurrently drying on my table is a clock I got at an auction. So far it has a base coat of white. Other than that not only do I not know what color I'm painting it, I also have no idea where it will be hung.
ReplyDeleteI love your clock!! I hope to my big clock on the wall soon...still working on getting the wallpaper border off the walls. I also love your LOVE letters on your wall.
