Hello everyone!
Well, our desk top computer is working for the moment. It's an intermittent problem, so I'm not sure how long it will work for me, but for now I'm happy! I was just relieved to be able to get the Share Your Style party up and running. No one wants to miss a party do they?!
Last weekend, I went to a couple of fun festivals. This time I'm sharing pics from one that is right across from my husband's fire station in Suwanee GA. We actually parked there and walked right across the street! Most people had to park far away and be shuttled in on a bus. Guess this was a perk of him working and helping people in that community.
Even though this was a "Fall" festival, it felt more like a "summer" festival. It was hot! The temps were in the low 90's.
When we first walked up, this is what we saw. And the smell of all the good food was intense. We ate some lunch and then walked around to see the sights.
We came upon this trailer containing snakes and other reptiles. Hmmmm........
We decided not to look in there.
But there was this guy standing outside holding a baby alligator for people to pet. That wasn't much my style, but there WERE plenty of soft furry animals of the canine variety all around us. Everyone decided to bring their dog that day. I thought it was too crowded and hot for us to bring ours.
It was so hot that kids were running around in the fountains that were outside.
There was even a shady area for kids to draw with chalk paint.
There was an art sculpture placed in the park that was a tribute to 9/11.
It was sitting on a clock with the various times marked of what happened that day.
Here is an actual piece of the tower that came down.
There were several concerts and dance performances going on as well.
We did a little bit of shopping as well. There were plenty of vendors set up selling hand made items.
One booth was selling bundles of lavender for just $5!
I also really liked this cotton wreath.
I found something in a booth that I placed on my sofa.
It's this handmade pillow with the script writing on it.
I have been making lots of changes around my house lately too. I moved some furniture around in the family room and sitting room. I've also done a little bit of Fall decorating. I don't ever do much in the Fall though. So, I will be sure to share more with you in my future posts.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that our computer will continue to work properly or that we can get it fixed quickly. I was holding my breath the entire time I worked on this post. Sometimes, it will just freeze up on me and not let me do anything!
Hope you all have a great weekend.
Thanks for stopping by.

Glad it is temporarily working. Love the new pillow and it was hot last Sunday for sure. Glad it is feeling like fall now.
Love your new pillow!! The photo with your horse and lamps in the background is so pretty. Glad your computer is working for you again. Have a great weekend!

Great pillow! Looks like a fun festival.
So glad your computer is up and running again! I know just how aggravating that can be! Suwanee looks like a neat, pretty town, and they sure put on a great festival! I would have snagged some of that lavender, what a deal! :) Love your pillow! Looks so pretty in your space! ~Rhonda
It's definitely the season for festivals, and the one you went to looks more interesting than most. Alligators and snakes?! Not my thing either, but fascinating nonetheless.
I know how frustrating computer issues can be. Right now one of ours is in the shop, but thank goodness I have a Mac! Best investment ever!
Love the look of the pillows in your home Kelly! So 'you'.
Enjoy your weekend!
What a great way to spend the day even though it was so hot! Love your new pillow!
Great pillow..I just love fall and all it's festivities..altho 90 doesn't seem very fall like..Have a wonderful weekend..
We have an annual street fair that we used to attend every year, but we haven't been in ages. I guess I need to give it a go again.
Love your new pillow.
The festival sounds fun. Luckily, it is almost festival season down here. Still too hot

Keeping my fingers crossed for your computer. The festival looks like it was fun although I'm not sure about petting the alligator. I think I would have made a round path around that. Love your new pillow. xo Laura
Love your new pillow, Kelly! It does look more like a summer festival than a fall event. I've been turning on our gas fireplace to warm our house up in the mornings and it won't be long before we turn on our steam heat. I've been having the same kind of problems with my old laptop. Today is the first day this week I can even visit blogs without it freezing up. I know it's time for a new one, and it's on the long list of things to buy, but it seems like everything goes at once!
I like your new pillow!! I did a show today...the weather was great, but no one shopping at the booths. Seem liked everyone went into the shop and didn't visit the booths outside. It was the worst show I've had in several years. Hope the one I have next week is better.

Love the pillow!
What a fun day! I would have stayed away from the reptiles too. ;) That was such a great price on lavender and I love the pillow you picked out. Handmade items are so unique. I'm slowly adding in a little Fall decor too, but I don't know if I'll get out as much as I usually do.
Looks like a fun time! Pretty pillow, and it looks just perfect on your sofa. Hope your computer problems are resolved.
