Hello everyone!
My sister and I went to the Country Living Fair in Stone Mountain Park, GA this past weekend. We look forward to it every year! It's always so crowded and is a long drive from our houses, but it's worth the trip! We always come away with unique items at good prices and have fun memories to reflect back on afterwards. This year was no exception. I took some pics to share with you so you could go with us "virtually". This fair is held in different cities throughout the year, so you should look it up to see if it will be in a city near you next year. This one was the last for 2016.
Some of my pictures aren't great because I used my cell phone camera and took them quickly. But, you will get the gist of the fair.
This is the first booth we stopped at. It was one of my favorites too. I loved these beautiful hand crafted barn wood pictures with quotes. They were a bit more than I wanted to spend though. So, I passed.
We saw a lot of magnolia leaves and cotton stems being used in displays and for sale.
I fell in love with this clock. Too much $$$ though.
My sister really liked this antique bread box with the number on it. It was priced to sell too!
She liked these crates on top of this display as well. A bit pricey but we saw some similar for less in another area. If you shop around, you can usually find what you want for the price you want.
I fell in love with these religious pieces. I almost bought the big cross. Wish I did now. Hopefully, it found a nice home.
I took this pic because of the interesting display. It's amazing how much work goes into these booths!
Old crates were plentiful. These Campbell's crates were cute.
I loved this idea of using shredded paper filler in a display. They even sold bags of it too. Didn't buy any, but may make some myself. Should be easy using a paper shredder.
Well. I will end this half here. I have plenty more to show you including what I bought. If you follow me on Instragram, then you've already seen some of it.
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to come back here Wednesday night for our weekly Share Your Style party.

I don't have to tell you this fair has a reputation for being one of the best in the country, and it's easy to see why. I'm jealous!
ReplyDeleteWow..I would love to see that..So many interesting things..I'll have to reread your blog later..more time
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun time with your sissy! I don't think I could have passed up those Campbell's crates. Love those! I always see people using them at parties to hold utensils, napkins, cupcakes, etc. I can't believe how much work goes into creating their displays. I love it!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a Fair. What did you buy????
ReplyDeleteI love a good virtual shopping trip! Looking forward to seeing what you brought home.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to go but it's never been very near to me. Love that you always go with your sister - how fun! I just bought a similar breadbox:) I love the farm wood signs, too. Thanks for giving us a sneak peek. xoKathleen Charm Bracelet Diva {At Home}
ReplyDeleteI enjoy you showing pictures of the Country Living Fair every year. Like the chalkboards and lanterns. Y o u are right with most of us having a shredder now easy enough to make your own shredded paper.

Hi Kelly,
ReplyDeleteSwooning over your pics of the booths at CL Fair. SO many wonderful things.
I cannot wait to see more.
Hugs,
Kris
Soo many goodies!!! Looks like such a fun day!
ReplyDeleteI have never been to a CL Fair, but I would if one was nearby. I know they are in NY and that is about as close to Boston as it gets. Thanks for the pics. I died and went to heaven looking at that wicker and leather settee.
ReplyDeleteI love those Campbell's crates, and do tell....what was the price on that big clock?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like so much fun! The Country Living Fair is on my bucket list for sure!
ReplyDeleteI didn't make it to the Country Living Fair this year in Ohio. My brother was in a very bad accident and we have been helping him with whatever he needs. He will be having surgery here soon. I hope to get back to blogging soon. I miss reading everyone's post, but I had a little time tonight to get online.
