Powder Room Update & More

Hello everyone!

I am happy to report that I am FINALLY done with the powder room.  The new chrome faucet has been installed and the brass one removed.

It's not exactly the one I wanted, but the price was right and the installation was easy.  It's by American Standard.  They offer faucets that are designed for easy installation.  My husband said he's never installed one so easily.

I wanted to share with you some products that I'm loving at the moment too.  Have you ever heard of Caldrea?  They make soaps, lotions, and cleaners that have the most DIVINE scent.  They offer many varieties of scents too.  I found mine at Target.

I use the Citron Ginger scented hand soap and dish soap in the kitchen and the French Provence hand soap in the powder room.  All of their hand soaps are available in the standard plastic dispensers or the glass and silver dispenser you see above.

So, if you're ever looking for a nice gift for someone (or yourself), you might give these a try. (I have no business affiliation with Caldrea or Target.)

I wanted to show you where "Bella", my dog picture, ended up too!  She didn't stray too far.

She is now hanging on the wall in the sitting room.  I painted the frame a soft white and aged it a bit with some dark finishing paste wax.

I think she's happy in her new spot.

Thanks for stopping by!

~ Kelly ~

  6. Hi Kelly and I love your pretty powder room. I'll have to try some of those products from Target. They look pretty too. Little Bella looks so pretty no matter where you hang her.
I've been out of town for a couple of days and had just been to your sister's blog and she said you'd lost most of your followers! Oh, no!
Well, I came right over and sure enough, my tiny head was not in your followers list. I rejoined you. I don't know why Blogger keeps messing with us. About a month ago I was on my blog, went to the kitchen for about 30 min., came back and my blog was gone! I panicked but it came back in a couple of hours! Whew!
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  11. Your new faucet looks great! I didn't realize Caldrea offered their soaps in the glass dispenser. The retailer here only offers them in the plastic. Your doggie pic looks fabulous in your family room in the new spot too!

  14. I love the changes in your powder room. We need a new faucet and I am ready to run off to Home Depot to have a look at what they have. I will check out the soap at Target, too. I have been using the Watkin's hand soap at my sink but I like these bottles better.

Love Bella's new frame and she looks good by that pretty chair!

    XO,
    Jane

  17. Kelly, Bella looks so pretty in her new space. I love your little sitting area there. Your powder room looks great. We just recently redid our powder room and the master bathroom. We have one more bathroom left and that's the guest bathroom. Trust me, I'm in no hurry to start that anytime soon! Hope you're having a wonderful day, Gail

  35. Your powder room looks lovely! I was introduced to Caldrea soaps about 7 years ago. I loved them, but they were a bit pricey for everyday use. I was so excited when Target started carrying them at a better price point. Now I've got them all around the house!

    Have a great weekend :)
