Hello everyone!
Well, it turned out to be a pretty weekend after all. I was expecting it to rain, but the sun decided to make an appearance instead. I'm not complaining!
I guess, since the sun has been shining and I've been on a "Spring Fever" kick in the house, I made some more changes. This is all in the name of lightening and brightening my home. Ha!
First of all, I moved my clock into the foyer in place of the leaning mirror. I really like the grey color against the white wall and the soft curves of it soften the square angles in the foyer.
I never even thought of using it in here, but am so glad I did.
Have you ever done that? Just moving one piece into a different room makes your house feel so different.
Now, you're probably wondering where the mirror went. It went upstairs in the master bedroom.
I gave it a new coat of white paint to soften it a bit too.
I decided to continue lightening and brightening this room in other ways too. I changed up the pillows on my bed (yet again).
I decided to stack them instead of propping them up. I like the casual feel of it.
I even draped a matelesse coverlet over the chair.
I'm enjoying the change. I wonder how long it will stay like this? Hmmmm....
One last thing! If you didn't get a chance to read my post prior to this one, please scroll down and read it. I would love it if you could reciprocate!
Thanks for stopping by!
~ Kelly ~

I love your clock, Kelly! I love changes like this ~ just moving around what we've already got and seeing it in a light. It really is the simple things sometimes.
ReplyDeleteYou are still showing up in my dashboard, as you did before, so I'm guessing you didn't lose me. I wondered if it went the other way too, because just before I saw your post, I lost a follower. It could have been a coincidence but I just thought it was funny to then see your post. That's freaky that happened.
Love the clock!! Where did you get it? New follower
ReplyDeleteKelly, Blogger says I am still following you. One day my entire blog vanished but came back later. It is enough to make me crazier I tell ya. Times are curious here at Google. hugs, olive

I can tell you how long the cover would stay on my bedroom chair... till it needed to be washed. Stuff goes to my laundry room and never comes out.
