Hello everyone!
It has been raining here almost all week and I am SO ready for it to stop. The ground is saturated so we can't work on our vegetable garden like we had planned to. So, what's a girl to do with all of this rain? Go shopping! Here are a few more fun finds that I saw at an antique store and thought I would share them with you.
I forgot what these metal buckets are called but I know they are a country french accent for the fireplace.
You know how much I love wooden crates. This one was a nice one.
I loved this primitive style painted cabinet with screens in the doors and porcelain knobs.
These would be adorable in a childs room or even a nursery!
Have you ever heard of Farmhouse Paint? There was a booth with a lot of it for sale.
They had a large color selection and looked like a nice paint to work with. May have to give this one a try in the future!
Found some amazing grain sack pillows too.
I liked these old bottles. They look good grouped together.
I've been noticing a trend of baskets with a white painted stripe on them lately. I have plenty of baskets that I could do this with myself! No need to buy one already done. They were trying to sell this for a huge amount of money too.
Well, did you see anything you like? This is a great antique store with so much to see. I could spend hours in it and spend TOO much money if I had it to spend!
Hope you all have a great weekend.
Thanks for stopping by.

Lots of pretties. :)
ReplyDeletethat blue medicine bottle is to die for. And I love the white trim on the baskets; it makes them look fresh. :)
ReplyDeleteI adore that green metal bucket.
ReplyDeleteI love shopping with you, it doesn't cost a dime :) Thanks for sharing! Blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteSO many goodies...I want to go shopping with you!!!! We don't have any shops around here like that.

What wonderful things! That painted cabinet with screens in the doors kind of reminds me of a pie safe. I've always thought it would be neat to have one in my kitchen. That farmhouse paint looks interesting too. I love that it comes in all those colors. I'm with you on painting your own baskets. So much cheaper that way. We've had a ton of rain lately too and we're expecting more storms tonight. Guess we won't be mowing the grass any time soon. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly, I love that paint and no I've never heard of it so I'll have to take a look. I love the pale blue cupboard too, would look beautiful with all ironstone in it!
ReplyDeleteWe had rain too but finally the sun is out!
I think those pillows are on Martha's booth that I got my German sack pillow from. She has a German supplier who sends her the sacks and then gets her workroom to make the pillows. Super well made. That harvest bucket has a name I can't think of either. Wish they didn't cost so much.
ReplyDeleteI like the grouping of bottles. I have to look at small things these days!

Lots of good things. I love antique and flea market shopping. Problem is I get too much stuff and then my home gets cluttered. I'm actually de-cluttering right now. Have to! Have a great weekend!! Diane
ReplyDeleteI've not seen Farmhouse paint around here, but I'm going to keep an eye out for it. I love going to antique malls...we have 2 huge ones here in town.

I have heard of that paint, but I don't know anyone who has tried it yet, looks like their claim to fame is 'no wax' needed.
ReplyDeleteLove that fireplace bucket!
Hope it stops raining soon!
Great looking place!
ReplyDeleteLoved your shopping trip! We have had our fair share of rain, too, here in Myrtle Beach, SC and I was so ready for it to be gone but I have had a change of heart! I realized with all of this rain we are having, it it washing away all this POLLEN!
ReplyDeleteFun place to browse..Many cool things..That paint has been around for awhile but I've never tried it...Not a fan of the Ad over your "comments" bar..Took several times to make a comment...Sorry Just sayin'

ReplyDeleteI noticed on the Farm Paint you don't need to apply wax or a top coat. Sounds easy! I love all of the items you found on your shopping trip. I would have had a hard time resisting the urge of bringing a few of those home.

I think you have hit the mother load of good picks. I would take home everything you posted as well as many other things. This seems like an awesome place to visit and like you I would probably want everything. The Farm Paint looks interesting, I haven't heard of that brand. I just might have to look into it. Can you tell us what the name of the shop was?
ReplyDeletelooks like a place to get tons of inspiration. I would definitely "copy" some of those ideas.
ReplyDeleteSo much great stuff! I'm loving that cabinet with the screened doors!

My fav is the green bucket too, and I have not heard of that paint, think I will look it up.
ReplyDeleteI see lots of things I like, but the thing that caught my eye is the crate that came from Rochelle Park, NJ. That's not far from me!
