Warming up the Family Room

Hello everyone!

Since most of my rooms are white, it's hard to warm up the spaces without adding some color.  But, I still love neutral colors, so I found these cute ikat pillow covers on Etsy that did the trick. I placed them on my sofa in the family room and love the contrast.

I think this is a fairly popular pattern as I have seen it around before.  There are several Etsy shops that carry it.

Not surprisingly,  I changed up the centerpiece on my coffee table too.

I have a  set of these wooden crates.  I used the smaller one to hold flowers.  I like the contrast of the dark wood against all of the soft whites and grey's in the room.

I moved my orchid to the side table instead.  I just love white flowers, if you can't tell by now!

In the meantime, I'm working on re-accessorizing the cabinet next to my fireplace.  I've had it the same way for awhile, so I'm ready for a change.  I'm still tweaking it, but when I'm done, I'll share it with you.  This cabinet gives me fits trying to get it the way I want it.

Thanks for stopping by!
