Hello everyone!
Remember me telling you about the new show on HGTV called Hometown? It's hosted by Ben and Erin Napier in Laurel, Mississippi.
Well several of you said that you didn't get a chance to see the pilot episode last Sunday. So, since I recorded it, I thought I would snap some pics to share with you today! I heard that they will be re-running it again, but the network doesn't have a date set yet.
Anyway, my pics don't do it justice. If you get to watch the show, you can see everything more clearly and hear the interesting stories behind everything that they did to the home. I'm only sharing the after pics. They are the pretty ones, after all!

It's pretty isn't it? There were so many neat additions made to this home to give it a warm and welcoming feel. So, if you get the chance to see it on HGTV, please do! You'll really enjoy it. And........if you're not from the south, then you'll learn a little something about that area too!

Hope you all have a splendid weekend! I will be painting my son's room, finally. I'm anxious to get it finished now that we've received his new computer desk and chair. Hopefully, I'll have some decent pictures to share with you soon.

Yes, it IS pretty! Such a well built, architecturally interesting home.
ReplyDeleteI've been hearing quite a lot about this show recently. We are not able to get HGTV while we're on the road, so thank you for these pics as I was curious :).

Hi Kelly
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about this show, but will definitely look our for it. Thanks!
Oh-Shoot!!!! I missed that show! I had wanted to see it, too. Looks like a great program. I am ready for some new HGTV fare myself...although I do love several of the ones that are on now. Looks like they have a decent lineup going again. For a while they really fell off the mark.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pictures. Hope you have a great night. xo Diana
I saw pics on Instagram, but I can't get the show. We don't have cable and just watch Apple TV. I have to buy each season of Fixer Upper so I guess I'll look for this show too.
ReplyDeleteThe house looks great.
I missed this show, Kelly, but after viewing your photos, I'll be sure to catch the rerun. Wow!
ReplyDeleteI missed the pilot, but I heard good things about it. Now I really want to see it! It looks like an amazing house! Hope you got your son's room all finished!
ReplyDeleteI watched the episode as well. They did an amazing job transforming that home. I could just live on that porch!

Kelly, Thanks so much for the pics of Hometown and links. I thought I had it set to record, but somehow it didn't. I'll blame it on our new cable box and remote, or "operator error". :)
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised they didn't run it again. Hope you're enjoying this Spring weather. xo
