Norcross Tour of Homes - Christmas Part 2

Hello everyone!

I've been meaning to share the rest of my pics from the holiday tour of homes that I went on at the beginning of December!  This home was actually used in a couple of movies!  It's called the Oakes House and was built in 1903.  It has appeared in Mothers Day and A Walk in the Woods movies.

This is the formal living room just to the left of the entrance when you walk in.

Next to that room is the formal dining room.

It has it's own fireplace too!

Straight back is the new remodeled kitchen.

Off the kitchen, is this outdoor room.

It looks out over the pool.  It is a new addition.

I loved this little alcove off the kitchen that led to the powder room.

On the other side of the house is the family room.

The staircase was beautiful with this large bay window and chandelier in it.

Upstairs is the master suite.

And here is the master bathroom.  Loved all the marble and shiplap!

You can tell that this house has been renovated since it features many current materials.

I didn't take pics of the entire house since it was very large!  It was a beautiful home.

I hope you enjoyed the tour and are planning a nice Christmas weekend with your family.  I'm done with my gift shopping (except for food) and will be spending time doing some more baking soon.  School is out but traffic is a nightmare!  So, hopefully, I can just stay home and let my husband run the errands.  (He has more patience than me.)

Thanks for stopping by!

Merry Christmas!

~ Kelly ~

Hey Kelly- You have some really weird comments here---look like spam to me!
Anyway that is a really great old house and I love the pictures of it. It makes me long to live in one of our old historic houses again. I was blessed to live in two of them during my marriage....maybe one more---who knows. xo Diana
