My master bath

I don't think I've shared my master bath with you yet.  I'm not sure if my sister ever shared it on her blog either.  So today's the day!

My favorite thing in my bathroom is this candelier hanging over the tub.

I must admit that I don't use it very often, but love how it looks when the candles are lit.  It's hanging in front of a very old piece of tin.  I found it at an antique store many years ago.  It's all rusty and chippy!

My bathroom is a long galley style space with vaulted ceilings and LOTS of light.  I kept the color scheme light and airy with a garden feel.

It has two seperate vanity areas.  Perfect for his and hers.

Although I have a linen closet, I still have room for this white bookcase for extra storage.

I've decorated it with feminine touches, but luckily my husband doesn't mind.

Here is a close-up of the rug.  It's by Dash & Albert.

My garden tub is extra large with built-in arm rests and an extra large window above it.

My closet is beside the tub.  This sign hangs above the closet.

The toilet is located near my vanity in it's own little room with a window.  It was too small to get a decent picture, but I was able to show the wall above the toilet.

The paint color is called Creamware by Restoration Hardware.  Since they no longer sell that color, you can get it mixed at your local paint store though.  They can look up the formula on their computer.

My shower is beside the tub.  I didn't get a picture of that.   I realize my brass is a little dated, but since my shower surround is brass, we haven't taken on the project of changing it all out.  Hoping that brass will just suddenly make a come back and save me the hassle.  Ha!

I love the hanger you put the chandelier on. I just passed-up purchasing one and I will have to go back at the next opportunity because I have been thinking of doing the same thing with my corner tub. Your bathroom is such a great space. Good work!
