Hello everyone!
I made a few changes (what's new - right?) to my sofa and coffee table that I wanted to share with you.
I added these white candles and faux sea sponge (?) to a white platter. As I mentioned in my last post, I love to sprinkle candles around the house in the winter.
It instantly adds warmth, but also brings the white color that I love so much to the coffee table.
I'm still keeping to my theme of natural elements to decorate with.
Another change that I made, was to add jute webbing to some white pillows that I had.
I love the added texture and subtle pattern it gives.
One other room, I made a subtle change in, is the kitchen. I added another white platter with some textural items there as well.
Is that another candle? Yes, it is! I guess I've covered about every room now. ha! So, along with my candles, I'm loving white right now. It seems to be a dominant color in all my rooms and soon the powder room will fit in with that scheme too.
Oh........I also wanted to mention that Sherry with No Minimalist Here is featuring my home today on her blog. I feel so honored for her to want to include me as part of her Open House Party Home Tour. She features some one's home every Thursday. Her blog is full of wonderful inspiration, so I encourage you to go check it out if you haven't visited her before. You won't be disappointed!
Thanks for stopping by!

I never fail to enjoy each and every visit to your blog! I continue to admire your decorating style! I have some of that webbing and never even THOUGHT about decorating with it! I can't wait to send Louis Dean out to the shed where he has it stored! His father in law upholstered furniture for Montgomery Wards years ago. Thanks for the good ideas!

ReplyDeleteLove your kitchen & the skirted round table!
ReplyDeletep.s. I love the sweetness of kids toys that feel right at home! I constantly have to remind myself about this every time I see a university text book or 2 on the coffee table! Time flies!
ReplyDeleteI totally am liking the brown with the white. The fireplace is beautiful. I will consider more white now that I have seen how you have incorporated it in your home. So warm and inviting. Antiqued white armoire is beautiful that way instead of all flat white. I am a follower who is getting some great ideas from your blog.
ReplyDeleteBlessings
