Flowering Branches

Hello everyone!

I love this time of year when everything is just starting to bloom.

I think flowering branches look great brought inside to decorate your home.

And I'm not opposed to the fake ones either!

That's right!  Mine are FAKE!  I'm not ashamed of it either.

However, I think they look real.

And I like the touch of Spring they bring to this corner of my kitchen.

By the way, did you happen to notice my new header?

I have the good fortune of knowing Brenda from Cozy Little House and she is an expert (to me) on making changes to your blog!  She helped me when I first got started blogging and was such a lifesaver.

So, who did I call when I was ready for another change with my blog?  That would be Brenda!

Go check out her blog, if you haven't already.  It's full of great inspiration.  She hosts a "link party" every Tuesday, called Tweak-it-Tuesday, spotlights a bloggers home once a week and welcomes new bloggers every Friday.  Whew!  She's a busy gal!

Thank-you Brenda!  I couldn't be happier with my new header and all the other suggestions you made.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hope you all have a great weekend.

~ Kelly ~

The header is beautiful. Making headers builds my character and I happen to think I have enough. Your house and yard in the previous post is gorgeous.

had to look twice at the branches... thought they were real. You are making me rethink faux.

I'm glad we went with the last font in the blog title. I think the length of it fits much better. So glad you are enjoying it. It was my pleasure.

Your branches are very pretty, especially in that white pitcher. I love to cut forsythia branches at this time of year and bring them in. It's time to bring in some apple blossoms too!

Your header looks great Kelly! Your fake or faux ;-) plants look pretty real to me! I do use allot of real in my house BUT I am NOT opposed to using faux. There are some very realistic ones.Actually some very realistic fruits too! I bought some faux apples one time and so many friends thought they were real LOL!

Faux flowers today do look very real...I use them too. It' such a cheaper alternative to buying fresh flowers every week.

Your header looks great!
