Hello everyone!
By now, you all know how much I love grey and white. My whole house, with the exception of a few rooms upstairs, is wearing it. So, when I came across this rose decorative object, I just had to grab it!
I love the texture and the subtle roses it has.
I believe it's made out of concrete, because it's heavy!
I sit in this chair every day, so I get to enjoy it a lot now!
Remember in my last post about wanting some little white pumpkins? Well, I still haven't found them and may not since the season is winding down. So, I decided to paint a small orange one that I had in my Fall bin in the basement.
Yep! This will do the trick! Simple and free too.
After it dried, I placed it on my mantel.
Isn't it cute?
So this will do, until I find the real thing!
Thanks for stopping by.

ReplyDeleteMy most recent post I mentioned not being able to find the real Baby Boo pumpkins like I did last year - so had to get out my faux ones, which works with no rotting, so I guess it is all fine - love yours - looks perfect in your world.
Stop by and visit if you can. I am more white and brown/black/beige - but truly love your white and greys! ♥

Those roses are perfect! They go very well in your home. I love grey and white too. Good job on the pumpkin! Sometimes I buy the orange ones because they're cheaper, then I just paint them like you did. Works like a charm!
ReplyDeleteThe concrete roses are so pretty! I LOVE that last shot!
ReplyDeleteLove those roses- It does look like concrete, too. Your painted pumpkin turned out great. I did some this year too- I have a bluish-grey one that I love- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI know good and well what would happen if that was my favorite chair next to that concrete piece. I would drop or knock the darned thing on my foot. So you be careful! It's a beautiful and unusual piece.

The concrete roses look great in your pretty room. I was lucky to find a bag of white pumpkins at the grocery store this year for around $3.
ReplyDeleteI had not paid much attention to white pumpkins until this year. What a great idea, Kelly! Being white they are more versatile in any decorating style.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! I adore the concrete roses and the white pumpkin. I like your attitude...if you can't find 'em, use what you have and transform it.
ReplyDeleteKelly,
ReplyDeleteThe pumpkin is great painted white and I love your grey roses so pretty. I have been slowly changing up my cream and white rooms to grey and white. I am loving the grey and white. You are a big inspiration for me and these changes. Love your style.

Two little changes can add so much! Love the little pumpkin in the tin!
ReplyDeleteLove Your Concrete Roses!I have a habit of buying concrete, iron, anything heavy - not so great when it is time to move. I adore your olive bucket beside your chair. And yes if you can't find the color you want then paint it!

Your concrete roses add so much texture to your look, plus, you could use them outside if you wanted to. Good idea to paint the little pumpkin. Mine have so many coats of paint on them. Don't remember what color they were originally. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend, and stay warm.
Kelly, your roses are beautiful! I just did a post on some updates we are doing to our other house. There will be a lot of white and gray in there, as well. Love the painted pumpkin! I painted a few of my orange ones last year; and they still worked for me this year. Your fall touches are great!
ReplyDeleteYour pumpkins look amazing! And your home looks like it is right out of Jeanne d arc living!
