Roses are Orange, Hydrangeas are Blue

Hello everyone!

Thanks so much for all your kind comments about my photo shoot.  As I mentioned, the photographers left me several flower bouquets, so I thought I would show you where they ended up after the shoot.

In my kitchen, the pitcher of orange roses now sits on the counter top beside my sink.

They are such a vibrant shade, so I liked them in my sunny kitchen.

They smell wonderful too!

My favorite flowers, though, were these beautiful deep blue hydrangeas.

I love them so much that now I'm on the hunt for some more (except that they will be fake)!  I know these will not last long enough to please me. These are potted in soil, so I'm hoping to get these planted outside when the weather permits.

In the meantime, they are enjoying the light in the sitting room next to a chair.

And last but not least, are these pretty light green hydrangeas they brought for my bedroom.  I left them just the way they had them.

So, inside my house, it looks like Spring!  Luckily, our weather is warming up too, so this is a much better week than last.

No more snow......No more snow......No more snow.......
Just click your heels and say that three times.  Maybe it will work!

Thanks for stopping by.

~ Kelly ~

The flowers are beautiful. We have warmer weather this week too. Still a lot of snow on the ground, though. Hopefully it will all melt this week.

I love hydrangeas, but my plants don't produce huge flowers. I still prefer to have the read plants in the house because I find the blooms I buy to put in vases die too quickly.

Those orange roses are gorgeous.

How wonderful to have a house full of beautiful fresh flowers! I have been looking for a pot of blue hyrangea and haven't been able to find them. Probably because it has been so cold. I hope it thaws at your place soon so you can get yours in the ground!

Ok, I am clicking away, hope it works:) Your flowers are bringing Spring to your home for sure. I need to get to the grocery to get some in here. Hope you get your hydrangeas planted, if so, plant in aprt shade, they don't like full sun. I have all mine at this house on the east side of the house so they just get morning sun, which they love.

Your flowers are perfect for each room and make me smile.

BTW ~ we have the same kitchen stove.

My friends use to laugh at my motto " I buy flowers and if there is any money left over, I pay the rent and buy food." Silly I know, but in 52 years of marriage, I've always had flowers, my rent has always paid on time, and I've never gone hungry.

Sending hugs.

Oh Kelly those orange roses are so beautiful! I have never seen that shade before. Now I would love to click my heals together and wish for the snow to disappear. It might help you but it won't do a thing for me. We got another 10cm today.
