Christmas Decor in the Bedroom

Hello everyone!

This year, I decided to add a little Christmas cheer to my master bedroom.  This is a first for me!  I have never decorated it for the holidays before, but have always admired other people's bedrooms at Christmas.

So, I thought I would give it a try.

I didn't do too much.  I simply added a pom pom wreath to the foot board and some garland to the head board.  My head board is flat like a mantel, so it allowed me to just lay it up there easily.

I also added some mercury glass candle holders on the chest beside the bed.

Do you decorate any of your bedrooms for Christmas?

Thanks for stopping by!

~ Kelly ~

So pretty! It is fun to have some Christmas cheer in the bedroom, isn't it? Does your hubby like it? Did he notice? lol!

Looks so pretty Kelly. The simple touches are wonderful. Gives the room a feel of the holidays but keeps the peaceful ness and serenity. Very nice.

Your holiday touches in the bedroom are perfect, Kelly! Just enough to make it feel warm and cozy. I don't decorate much in our upstairs.

Those touches look nice. I usually decorate all our bedrooms. I did something very similar to yours in one of the guest rooms.

Hi Kelly! Your master bedroom looks beautiful for the holidays. I have never decorated my bedroom for the holidays mostly because I have a hang up about decorated rooms being neat and tidy. I can never keep it picked up long enough to decorate. I would like to though!

So pretty Kelly . I have always done ours. Like yours my headboard is mantel like and I placed a garland with some real bits in it... simple and elegant.

I love the idea of using garland like that and the wreath looks so pretty on the foot board. I'm a big fan of mercury glass, so I adore it any time of year. I do decorate our bedroom for Christmas. I put up a tree in there and decorate it in blue, white, and silver to match the room. I think the only other Christmas touch in there is the snowflake pillow on the chair. Hopefully I'll get my house photographed soon so I can do a Christmas home tour on my blog. :)

It looks so pretty, Kelly! I used to decorate the bedrooms when the girls were younger. Now, I'm lucky just to get the living areas done...lol! Your touches are so festive and make me wish I had added a little something. I just put a Santa in the room.

Kelly, your headboard looks so pretty with the greenery on it. I've never decorated our master bedroom for Christmas, but used to decorate my girls bedrooms for Christmas when they were little. My youngest still puts a small tree in her bedroom every Christmas...even though she is all grown up now.

I don't usually decorate upstairs, other than a few small touches. I love your pom pom wreath at the end of your bed, Kelly! And candles are always a nice touch in any room.

Kelly...this is so pretty...I just love that wreath. I never decorated the bedroom until last year. It's sort of fun! I'm still working away and I'll get to that soon.

p.s. did you know that in order to leave a comment here, all of a sudden you have to type in a number to prove your are not a robot?

Your Christmas touches are just perfect. Not too much, not too little....just right. The wreath is darling, and it can be used well beyond Christmas.

(The word verification thing that's going on seems to have something to do with Blogger. Apparently a LOT of people are experiencing this glitch.)

I love the sweet touches. I only do a few little things in the master. By the time I get to the second floor, I'm usually too pooped to decorate.
