Tweaking the Mantel

Hello everyone!

I hope you're not sick of seeing my mantel, but I made a few small changes to it  recently.  I added a bit of burlap to it to warm it up.

I added some curly twigs to a brown and white transfer ware pitcher too.

Do you see that darling little burlap stocking hanging in the center?  Well, I just received that today from my sweet blogging friend Linda at White Weathered Hutch.  Thank you Linda! I love it!  She made it and sent it to me all the way from Canada. It is filled with wonderful Christmas scented potpourri too!  I was so surprised to receive it.  I knew it deserved a special place of prominence on my mantel.

I added a bit of brown and white ticking to my coffee table too.

On top of my armoire, I added some blue glass bottles.  I love how they reflect the light.

So, that about rounds up some changes I made in here.  Do you do that too?  You think you're done and then..........Wham!..........another idea comes into your head and you have to try it out?  That's me all the time!  LOL!

Thanks for stopping by!
