Around the House

Hello everyone!

Is it cold, windy, and snowy where you are?

It's cold and windy here, but no snow.  Oh wait!  We did get a small trace amount.  Want to see it?

There was actually more than this but it melted before I could get a picture of it.  That's the most snow I've seen in almost 2 years around here!  Shocking, I know.  LOL!

I'm stuck inside because it is NOT pretty outside, so I decided to take a few snapshots of things around the house that I haven't shared yet.

So get comfy......

First up, is my newest find from the consignment store yesterday while dropping off some items with my mom and sister.

It's a small tureen  for gravy I guess.  I love the petite size!

Remember when I said I was waiting on a picture to arrive to hang in my kitchen? Well, I'm still waiting.  I think it will be too small for this space anyway, so I decided to hang this one instead.  It is from my stash in the basement.

Here is a night shot with it on the wall.

Some cute little cutting boards and mortar and pestle.

My olive bucket now holds dough bowls.

My newest pillow from Decor Steals.

Another change to the basket on my coffee table.  (Didn't I JUST show you a recent change already? My bad.)

I switched my black pharmacy lamp for this silver one.  The black one is now in my son's room.

My large tureen in the foyer.  Y'all know how much I love to decorate with white dishes, by now, right?

In my bedroom, since I moved the large chair out (into the family room), I set up this seating area instead.

I found this cute vintage style (but new) alarm clock for the side of the bed.

So that about wraps up my tour of some things around my house today.

Hope you all are staying warm and safe inside with the storms that are blowing around in the upper north east.  I guess we're getting the wind and snow flurries but nothing major.  It is NOT Spring yet around here.  Not even close!

Thanks for stopping by!

~ Kelly ~

Was cold this morning and a blustery wind. Has warmed up some ( mid 60's) but the wind is still whistling through the trees.
I adore all your white tureens. I have a few... but on the lookout for more. A girl can never have too much white....
Stay warm..
Hugs, Gee

Love your new little tureen!

Everything looks so awesome...QUESTION ...I thought you had painted your kitchen table with chalkboard paint, because I remember pinning it??? Your table has the natural wood stain in this picture?

all these details are what make your home so, so pretty! I had to smile at that cute little patch of snow. How sick I am of snow. This is my second winter in a snowy climate, and I'm over it lol. If you ever want to see more snow than you've probably ever seen, just come on up and visit me =)

Thanks for giving me lots of inspiration. I am painting my hallway cabinet this weekend. I think I might go with a simple container with flowers like yours. I love getting ideas during the week from blogs and getting to try them out on the weekends.

Everything is looking lovely as usual. I love the cow print in your dining area!

Now I have to ask. Do you shovel with a teaspoon or send the dog out to lick up the snow? hehe

We still have 2 feet of snow with another snowstorm headed our way on Saturday?! Want some?

Hi Kelly, I must have missed this post earlier on. Love everything! That says is all but I must comment on some: Wish I could find pictures like your cow in my garage, where did you get that pillow about moon love, that is a special saying that I have with my grandson, even at 19 years old and the new tureen is beautiful..Happy Weekend..Judy
