Hello everyone!
I spied this basket hiding under a table in someone's booth. I walked passed it and later kept thinking about it. So, I went back for a better look and decided it was a keeper!
At first, I used it on my kitchen table.

I played around with it and decided it might look better with something draped in it. So, I decided to use one of my grain sacks in it.
It has wonderful patina and is quite large.
I liked it here for a few days.
Until I tried it in the family room.
Who knows how it long it will stay here either.
Now, I need to clear out some baskets that aren't being used anymore down in my basement. Baskets are another weakness of mine!

Nothing stays in place very long either - but what a gorgeous basket - would even be beautiful on a floor with magazines!!!

That is an awesome basket! I have a basket I just mixed with a little table that I had never imagined before. Mine isn't a neat antique though. Yours looks wonderful on your coffee table- great idea!

I'm a basket lover too. My lemons are in one, my pot holders are in one, my cloth napkins..on and on. I find some pretty nice ones at our thrift store.

I like it on the kitchen table, but the thing about stuff on the table is always having to move them since I have a small round table. I love it on the coffee table. There's so much you can do with it. I'd definitely put magazines in it. You found a treasure, for sure!

Versatile describes that basket well. You can use it in so many places. I like the grain sack lining. Things don't stay in the same places in my home very long - it's fun to switch things around.

Love your basket! I have one very similar on top of my armoire in my bedroom filled with dried hydrangeas.

I love this basket...you're right, it has a nice patina and that's what I look for. I'd like to learn how to paint or stain baskets to give them that look.

I'll probably be getting rid of some baskets before the big move. I want to simplify things and just flat won't have the room. The basket is so big you could do most anything with it!

What a great find and so large. This can be used for so many things. Linens, dried hydrangeas in the fall and magazines. Just love it on the coffee table.

Very pretty! I am a baskaholic too. My kids have actually begged me not to buy another basket... I love them. So many uses. I saw one this past weekend that I keep thinking about. I should have bought it! Maybe it'll still be there.
