Hello everyone!
We've been enjoying a relaxing Labor Day weekend here. We spent some time with our friends that were camping at the lake. They invited us to join them on a boat ride and for dinner.
The lake was crowded but the weather was beautiful!
We walked down to where their boats were anchored to enjoy a fun boat ride.
We found a quiet cove for some swimming and anchored the boat.
Our friends took their dog along as well. He even had his own swim vest on!
We returned back to the campsite.
And prepared dinner at their camper.
It got dark, so I didn't get any pictures of our food, but it was really good! Doesn't everything taste better outdoors? We roasted marshmallows and made smores before we left.
What a great way to end the summer!

Sounds like a great way to spend Labor Day weekend! I love that they had a little swim vest for their dog too! S'mores sound REALLY good right now! We even cheated and made them in the microwave a few times this summer. :)

Sounds like a fun day with friends! We had a trailer like that but hubby could never get weekends off so we sold it. I miss it sometimes.

Sounds like a fun time and it looks like you had the perfect weather to get out on the lake, Kelly! We didn't get our kayaks out nearly as much as I'd like this summer, so I'm hoping we can make up for it in the next few weeks.

This looks like so much fun! We don't do any water activities because of my daughter's ears. I'm hoping next summer will be different though!
