Searching for Fall

Hello everyone!

Are you one of the fortunate ones that is enjoying the crisp cooler weather that Fall brings?  Or, are you one (like me) that is still stuck in the heatwave of the summer?  I guess, it's a toss-up.  I endure hot long summers, but on the flip side mild to moderate winters.  No shoveling snow and dealing with blizzard warnings here very often.  So, with that in mind, I guess I will take that to heart while waiting on the weather to cool down here for Fall.  It will happen on it's own time.

In the meantime, I thought I would highlight some great Fall decor ideas that have been shown around blog world lately.  I will live vicariously through them until it starts feeling like Fall here.

A display of Fall leaves with paper leaves written with thank you messages on them from Ella Claire.

Some free printables about Fall from Cherished Bliss.

A Fall tour of this family room from Shades of Blue Interiors.

Since I love white and gold, how about this cute idea about decorating a pumpkin from Tabler Party of Two.

This beautiful Fall display outside the front door from Second Chance to Dream.

And last but not least, some cute Fall items for sale from Dear Lillie.

Hope you all have a great weekend and, hopefully, some pleasant Fall weather!

~ Kelly ~

I am so seriously over this heat and we need rain, too. So dry and crispy out there.

Still summertime here too, but a milder version. They're calling for low to mid 80s all next week.

Still hot here too. But we've had rain. I'm just starting to bring fall stuff out, but seems a bit silly with this heat.

We had to turn on the heat in our rv this morning (we are currently in Vermont) but now it's beautiful. You're right about the tradeoff Kelly...at least you don't have blizzards!

The inspiration you're showing is just gorgeous, and right up my alley.Love it all!!

Our temps are back to normal, 70 here in the Midwest, the air is crisper and the leaves are starting to change. I'm hoping for an Indian Summer as I love to be outdoors.

You gave us some great inspiration. I have to clear out my summer pieces and make room for the fall! I always have a tough time with that because I'm not a big fan of the color orange.

I hope you cool off soon!

We are beginning to cool down in the midwest but still in the 70's so not like fall just yet. I am dreaming up some vignettes for fall but just am not ready to put them up yet. My summer flowers are still blooming.
Have a great week end.

It's only 92 today, back to 98 tomorrow in the Dallas area. The 70's would be fall to us! Love all the inspiration you shared though. It will keep me going until it cools.

Still waiting on crisp fall weather here too. We actually have a heat advisory in effect today. Lol. Having said all that, I just remembered I found some velvet pumpkins last year and now I'm kind of wanting to get them out. Maybe that will help fall to arrive in Texas. :)

I am so over this summer Kelly. It is still humid in NJ. I can't wait for the crisp air. Cute T-shirt.
