Hello everyone!
I guess I'm on a "bedroom" kick this week. Thanks for all the sweet comments about my Spring guestroom last Monday. It was a lot of fun being part of a Spring blog tour.
I have made several changes to my master bedroom lately and I wanted to share them with you.
I changed my bedding first. I still have white bedding but this time it's a different kind altogether. Since I have a foot board on my bed, it's always a challenge to make up my bed . It's hard to fit my hands in between the mattress and the foot board to tuck in the sheets. So, when I discovered Beddy's Beds I decided to give it a try. To learn more about them, click HERE.
The bedding slips on your mattress like a fitted sheet. The top sheet is built in and everything zips open and closed like a sleeping bag! It's such a genius invention.
Next, I added this burlap bench with a big pillow on it at the foot of the bed. I like how the wood warms up the space a bit.
Then, I replaced my antique dressers on each side of the bed with matching side tables. They are scalloped metal with wood tops. I also painted my wooden lamps a light grey color to contrast with the wood tops on the table.
And I added this french style tufted chair in here. It matches the one that is used in my sitting room at my secretary.
You may recall the larger French style chair that was in here got moved to my guest room.
One of the best things we did in here was to finally hang our TV on the wall across from the bed. Now we can see it better from a lying down position.
The cords aren't too pretty, but we're ok with them for now. We know how to hide them if we ever want to. It will just be a little bit of work.
We're really enjoying the changes.
This is from the reflection in the mirror.
Next, I will finally show you our completed master bathroom! We love it. We still need to paint the cabinets but everything else is done. It took about 2 1/2 weeks to complete.
Hope you have a great weekend.

I just love your side tables..Interesting bedding. Looks great..cozy too
PS You could put your flowers in front of those cords..They would pretty much cover them..
Looks so calming ! Nice job !
It all looks so pretty! Those metal scalloped tables are my favorite part! They are perfect with those wood tops. And that bedding looks like such a neat invention.
So very beautiful and serene Kelly!
I love it all, Kelly! The bedside tables are perfect, and the bedding is so clever that even a man could make the bed and have it look presentable. hehe Your master bedroom is so pretty and serene!
Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend!
I've toured my fair share of model homes lately, and your bedroom can give any one of them a run for their money! Beautiful!
I love all of the changes you made. It is a very serene and restful room.
It looks just lovely, Kelly. I have never heard of that bedding! What a convenient thing to have. There is just something so restful to me about an all-white bedroom. I really like the contrast between your furniture and the white. It's perfect! xo Diana
I really like the look of the side tables, as the bedding is somewhat feminine and this is a big contrast.

You are really kicking butt on getting things done. The bedroom looks great, no reason to leave now that you can see the tv, and I am intrigued by that zipping bedding.
