Hello everyone!
Since I now have a pantry, I moved the bins out of the bookcase that were holding food items. Now, I'm left with decorating space for some of my favorite white serving pieces.
I added some pitchers, bowls and pedestals. I love having a place to display things that I can use in my kitchen.
A little bit of wood and greenery warms up the arrangement too.
Another big change in here is the removal of the tv and video game console. My son wanted it in his bedroom, so I was more than happy to oblige! Yippee! I have to control my excitement since this is the first time in years that I've seen this corner of my kitchen.
It became the perfect place to hang my huge bread boards on the wall!
I never really shared this area of my kitchen before because it wasn't pretty to look at. Is a big black tv EVER pretty to look at..........especially in a kitchen?!
So now, my son is happy and I am happy about the change. Should've done it sooner.
Now, it's time to work on my son's bedroom. It's getting crowded in there with his new game system. His room needs to be repainted, along with some of his furniture and he could use new lighting and blinds. It's always something isn't it?
Thanks for stopping by!

You're right, it is always something, but that's what keeps life interesting, not to mention it gives us stuff to post about ;).
Having the wood boards most certainly must look nicer than a TV. As you say, they are never really pretty to look att.
The bookcase looks perfect in that spot and I love the way you accessorized it! Your kitchen always looks so pretty Kelly!
I'd be thrilled Kelly to have my entire kitchen back. Love the addition of the boards and super collection of pitchers.

I love how you use wood and greenery together, it's so pretty! Oh, I hear you about those game consoles! We used to have a big ol' desk and computer in our bedroom for the kids to play their games on and we finally moved everything inside the armoire and got rid of the desk. I've never been happier! Lol! Your breadboards look like they were made for that spot!
How fun to have a new place to decorate! I love those big bread boards!
Such a charming kitchen Kelly! Of course I love all the white :) along with your counter stools, lighting and all. Hope you have a great week! I dream of tackling my sons' rooms too... one of these days!!
I love your new pantry/hutch. You have it displayed nicely too!
Love the changes! I have a tv in the kitchen but I it's hung on a hinge on the wall. Don't know why I agreed to it. I hate it in the kitchen but to take it out would leave a huge hole. Don't you just love having a pantry now? I love your ironstone display.
It's great to have a new place to decorate. We've been painting the walls in our living room and dining room...and taking up old carpet. I can't wait until we are done...so that I can get to the fun part of decorating.

Looks awesome Kelly. Love the wood cutting boards in that space. It is always something isn't it. One change leads to another!!! Have a great new week.

Looks so pretty. I love your style.
It's great when everyone wins! The bookcase it really eye-catching, and the bread boards are much more attractive than a TV!
I love your kitchen, Kelly! I agree that a TV is a big old eyesore and lucky for you, your son is happy to have it in his room. Your shelving is the perfect place to display your pretty ironstone, and the breadboards are art to me!
It seems every small change involves another more intense re-do. That's the way of life, especially when it involves decor. Love what you did with the shelving and those are Great bread boards! Blessings, Cindy
You're right ... it's always something since one things always leads to another! I love the change in the kitchen ... your bread boards look perfect there.
I love all your whites on the bookcase Kelly! It's such a simple fresh look. And the drapes you added over the summer are still looking so beautiful. Love those! xo
Kelly, your kitchen looks gorgeous. I love how you added the wood and green accents. Just beautiful! xxx Maria
Your kitchen looks lovely.
I hate looking at a television and we did not have one for nearly 10 years. But, my kids gave Steve a television 2 years ago and I hate the corner of the living room where it is hanging.
Oh my. That would have driven me crazy. I know we want our kids near us but I'm glad he's old enough to have it in his room. Our t.v. and game console were hidden in an armoire.
I love the bread boards.
What a beautiful kitchen! You are definitely an inspiration for me while I try to style my own home. Thanks for sharing..
