Pending Projects

Hello All!  I was going to have a post ready yesterday, but it didn't work out.  So....I'm letting you know about a few projects in the making or soon to be around here.

But first, since blogs should always have some pretty pictures to look at, I did want to show you a little something I picked up last Friday.  I found this really large glass wine jug at a STEAL!

And yes, Kim, I bought a little bundle of lavendar (like yours).  Ha!  Found it at Hobby Lobby for a couple of dollars.

Do you see the clock faces hanging off the jug?  Found those too (very cheap) and loved their vintage quality.

Now onto the "not so pretty" pictures.

My husband was going to do some projects outside, but decided he'll do it this week instead.  (We'll see.)

These projects include (but are not limited to):

Pruning these bushes

Pressure washing this walkway and freshing up the pinestraw

There are a few more projects that need to be done, but will share those in upcoming posts.  Hopefully, I'll be able to show the "after" pictures of these projects later this week.

One in particular, that I'm working on TODAY, is a painting project.  I started it yesterday and it is still not finished.

So, hopefully I can share that with you soon.  I've got alot to do today and I'm trying to take advantage of getting the bulk of it done while school is in session.  If you know what I mean!

Have a great Monday!

Love the jug and the lavender, of course. What are you painting now? If you want to paint I will glad to have you come paint my back entry and laundry room that are on the list of projects here.

I am loving the wine jug Kelly. I need to keep my eyes open for one. The clock faces are a wonderful idea.

Anxious to see your paint project.

Love the wine jug. We trimmed our shrubs two weeks ago but like us you have waited too late. It is harmful in Georgia to trim them in the fall but we did it any way. New growth can be hurt by the first frost and disease and set in. I have been ironing-ugh. hugs♥O

I like the jug, but I really can't stop staring at the painted piece in the background... I think it is a trumeau type mirror perhaps? You'll have to include the whole thing next time (after you finish your projects).

Kelly, Love your demijohn and glad you got a good deal. These can be quite pricey. The clock faces are also wonderful.

Love the wine jug... could only be better if it were filled with wine :) And, those clock faces are very cool! Good luck with your projects. I definitely understand working during school hours. For me, that means only 8 hours a week to myself, when my youngest is in preschool. Of course, I usually use that time to play tennis and not get my projects done!

I LOVE that jug! I keep my eyes open for large jugs and bottles. . . but haven't had much luck lately finding any. Good for you!

I'll be happy to see what you're working on! I definitely know what you mean about getting things done during school hours!

Loving the clock faces hanging on your demi-john! That is THE cutest idea... may have to borrow that!

Your vignette is beautiful... the lavender, the wicker bottle and that art piece above them is fabulous!
