Hello everyone!
I don't do a lot of Fall decorating inside my house. However, I did manage to set out a few white pumpkins and branches though.
On my coffee table, I placed a white pumpkin and Spanish moss inside this basket.
It adds a subtle touch to the room.
I placed a smaller white pumpkin on the side table next to the sofa too.
I really just want a "whisper" of Fall in my home.
In my kitchen, some birch branches were placed in a glass container. It's just enough to warm up the space and add some texture.
This could be left out year round too!
Also, remember when I said I was working on a chalk paint project? Well, here it is.
This bench used to be white. I bought it with red paint on it and changed it to white. Now, that I've painted my dining room table grey, I thought this bench would look good in it too.
Here is a close-up of it after it was sanded and waxed.
You can see a little bit of the red and white peeking through.
I used French Linen ASCP on this.
Here is the final shot of it in my dining room with the pillows on it.
Do you notice how different the paint color looks indoors? The sun was so bright outside that it made the paint look more taupe. Indoors, it's more of a true grey.
Hope you had a great weekend. It was nice here. My husband was able to start on some outdoor projects finally too.
Thanks for stopping by!
~ Kelly ~

That is perfect Kelly! I love your simple white pumpkins too. Looks cute in the basket.
Kelly: I absolutely love the branches in the glass jar, along with the cup rack and the fork banner behind, that is just about perfect. Actually it is perfect..Happy Sunday..Judy
hey kelly- inside my house I am doing a combination of traditional colors and a more softer "whisper:) Today I actually saw Pink pumpkins at Home Depot.
The cute pumpkin arrangement on your table is too cute. Love the branches that can stay up year round. Good thinking.
I love it, I remember I bought a bench at a yardsale for $10.00 painted an ugly brown, I use it outside and painted it a lime green. Now you have the wheels turning in my head.lol Wonder what it would look like grey? Still don't know about my diningroom table should I or shouldn't I?:)
Hello Kelly,
Luv the 'whisper' of Fall. I have the traditional Fall colours as well of the whisper :-) Been decorating , tweaking and fluffing for weeks and I think I finally got it to where I want it.
Luv the bits of red popping through on your sweet bench.
Cheers, Gee

Love the simple white pumpkins and twigs, Kelly. Placing the pumpkin in the moss adds a lot of lovely texture too. I love benches but only have two so far -always looking for affordable ones. The grey is perfect for your room.
Your basket is SO fun (love the numbers on it!) and the pumpkin looks perfect in it!

I like keeping it simple, too, Kelly. The feel of Fall is there and that's good enough for me. Your bench looks great. You're really hooked now!

Love how your bench came out, Kelly. Your dining room has really come together. I haven't gotten any pumpkins yet, but I am going to be on the lookout for some white ones this next week.
Hugs,
Laura
Your fall touches are perfect Kelly! I'm going with simple touches too this year.
Kelly, I love your 'whispers" of fall. The white is so pretty with your decor. All of your fall touches are pretty; and I love your bench!
I am not big in decorating for fall either, but I like little things here and there. I like the white pumpkins. Nice job on the bench too.
Good job on the bench and nice fall touches.
Love your autumn touches, and the bench. I don't do a lot of Fall inside either. It's very subtle like what you have here.
Love your bench Kelly!
I love the term 'whisper Fall in the home', and you did it so very well, your design is inspiring for sure and I love the idea of the pumpkins and spanish moss together....Wishing you a lovely week, Xo, Ashley

The whites and greys are restful, when the rest of the world is arrayed in orange and yellow!
The pumpkin with moss is gorgeous, and perfect for a lighter touch with the fall theme--I'm going to have to search out my florists moss and try this too.
I spy another pumpkin in your kitchen. Go back and look at your cutting board hanging on the wall. It looks a bit like a pumpkin!
Love your fall touches in textured neutrals, my kind of fall decor! The bench looks great in FL. Nice looking around your house...come over to mine!
Love it Kelly, two of my most favorite colors....Happy Fall
Very pretty, Kelly ... love your whispers of Fall. And, the newly painted bench looks great!

Love your Fall touches! You just reminded me to get my painted pumpkins out of the attic... is it really time??
Cute bench, too :)
I always enjoy seeing your projects!! I noticed that one fallen brown leaf on the paper under your project outside....I love fall and your understated elegant way of decorating for the season.
Fall in your home is gorgeous, Kelly!
When we had our Windsor rockers made, they were finished in milk paint. Black over red was used. Apparently this was done historically. The chair maker does all his work with antique tools. Your bench fits right in with that paint idea.:-)
Love the pumpkin in the basket....still working on my fall decor...Your bench turned out fantastic...love the pillows on it...perfect...Have a wonderful week Kelly!
