Mirror Shuffle

Hello everyone!

The weekend is winding down, so I thought I would share with you the rest of the changes I made involving my mirrors.

Nothing huge, just a small shuffle of one mirror with the other.  It's funny how such a small change can change the look of a room.

My fireplace had a large grey framed mirror leaning on it, but I wanted something a little more stylish, so I switched it for the trumeau mirror that was hanging in another room.

This mirror is a bit more narrow so it will leave me more room to decorate around it too.

The large plain mirror went over the chest in my sitting room.

I balanced it's large size with a glass vase full of white hydrangeas.

One other thing that keeps getting my attention is the crate on my coffee table.  I keep finding different ways to style it!  It's funny, I don't style my coffee table, I style my crate!

I used a blue glass pitcher and filled it with little white daisies.  Then, I added my blue vintage tablecloth on the other side.  (It didn't last long on my kitchen table with my boys eating there.)

Are you having a good weekend so far?  It has been an ugly one here.  It rained all day yesterday but my garden is smiling now.  We've got a roast in the crock pot for dinner tonight and it smells so good!

Wishing you a great Sunday.

Thanks for stopping by.

~ Kelly ~

My flowers have perked up from the rain we got last week. Good idea to balance out the big mirror with the hydrangeas.

Love that mirror over you fireplace; the swap was a good move for both spaces. I'm enjoying your crate updates - the tablecloth and daisies are so sweet! About that roast - I'll bring the wine!

Nice changes! The mirrors look great and I like how you decorated around them. The crate decorating is cute- love a spot you can play with a lot like this.

I love that narrow mirror Kelly! It's so elegant and it looks perfect in it's new home.

It's funny, but I have a crate on my cocktail table too and every time I walk by it I think I really need to switch things up a bit, so I know exactly what you mean!

Love the changes! It'll be nice to have a little more room to decorate on the mantel now. Those daisies are beautiful and look so cheerful in the blue pitcher. I've had a pretty good weekend. I spent most of it taking pics of all the kittens in my backyard. Lol!

It's fun to have mirrors that you can switch around when you're ready for a change. I love all the blue accents you've been adding to your home!

Hi Kelly,

I have been looking for a Trumeau mirror for a long time. I found one online, but it was a huge floor mirror. Where did you find yours? It is perfect. Love your home and decor style.

Blessings, Shelly

Those changes are so perfect. So very pleasing to the eye.

I need to pick up a little more ivy to finish off the shelves about my kitchen counters over the sink.

You always supply me with ideas. Thanks.

Such pretty mirrors, Kelly. It's nice that their size makes it easy enough to switch things around. I like how the one over the fireplace has the embellishment that mimics what is on the fireplace.

Mirror mirror on the wall. I was going to say isn't the Shuffle an 80's dance, but I think that was the Hustle.

Love your crate styling and mirror switches. I need you to come to my house and switch things around. I don't change things enough.

I am smelling your roast and wishing I had one in the oven.

Have a great week.
