Some Fall Decor in the Dining Room

Hello everyone!

Thankfully, my jury duty was cancelled so I didn't have to go in yesterday.  Woo Hoo!  And, it is Fall break here this week for my son.  So, things are a little easier this week.  This is the first year our county has ever offered a Fall break to our students.  So, this is exciting.  However, too bad that the weather isn't very nice.  It has been rainy, muggy, cloudy, and humid ever since last weekend.  I'm hoping to see the sun at some point this week.

I was able to begin some Fall decorating though.  I only did a little.  I added some to my dining room table, kitchen table, and front porch.  Today, I'm sharing my dining room.

I added some faux white pumpkins and faux eucalyptus to my dough bowl.  Y'all know that I'm all about "faux" right?

I already had all of these materials so it didn't cost me anything to put this together.  It fits in with my neutral decor too.

This is not a large dining room so I only decorated the center of the table for Fall.

I finally took a picture of this angle so you can see the wall hutch.  It doesn't always get in the picture!

I've got so many changes to share with you now too.  I moved around some furniture so, hopefully, I will get some pics of that to share soon.

Have a great Tuesday!

Love the white pumpkins and eucalyptus in your dough bowl......very pretty! It was nice to see the angle with your plate rack too. It is supposed to be cooler here the rest of the week with fall like weather finally.

Love your abundant bowl of pumpkins for fall! I think you could put just about anything in that bowl and it would look beautiful. I saw one similar to yours at an estate sale this pat weekend, but it was marked NFS. Shucks! We're so over the rain here too.

I love the neutral Fall decor. That wall hutch is so pretty and I love the clock above it. We never have Fall breaks around here, but we do get a week at Thanksgiving, but that seems so far off right now. You sure lucked out that your jury duty was cancelled! :)

Touches, touches of fall is what I'm loving and looking forward to this year. I've got something Major going on in my life right now, so I've trying to find Joy in the Simple! I love your table vignette, it's perfect! Many blessings, Cindy

Ruth Ann and I were in a little shop today and I thought about you! I bought our glider and a couple of other things here recently and found TWO secretaries and took down the measurements thinking one may work in the den where I replaced a bookcase with a beautiful secretary a couple of months ago.
Anyway, I turned around and saw this gray and white corner cabinet and immediately thought about YOU!!! I guess I will always associate this style with The Essence of Home!!!

Pretty but...To me, half the fun of fall is the colors!!! Your arrangement is very classy..

Lovely Kelly! I notice your table is small, like mine somewhat. Does it have a leaf? What do you do if you have a larger group? For me, that's always a challenge. We actually made something to place on top of the table to expand it, but it was too precarious. Now if we have more than four we entertain on the deck.

Hi Kelly- Love this post. Fall is really in the air for many of us. I am on my third visit to the "tour" and now I AM confused. Who is leaving as one of the hosts? I thought it was Barbara and then thought it was Martina--just call me blond...lol xo Diana
