Hello everyone!
Well...............it was painful to see the Atlanta Falcons lose the Super Bowl. It was SO close! We had it in our little hands for most of the game. But, then the Patriots worked their magic and stole it from us! Yep! That's what I'm calling it. It makes me feel better anyway. I'm proud of our Falcons though. I'm hoping we get a "do-over" next year. Ha!
I have been so busy here at the house that I haven't been able to take pics to share with you for the changes in our family room. So, I am sharing this wonderful easy recipe instead. I hope to share the family room later this week.
We're getting new granite counters and sinks installed in our upstairs baths this week as well as new mirrors (that I must shop for). Our cabinets are getting raised with some carpentry tricks so cabinet painting will also take place. So, I will have lots to share with you over the next few weeks!
If you're busy like me, then you probably love slow cooker recipes! Aren't they the best? Here is one that stole my heart. We had it not too long ago and I just had to share!
These are the ingredients you will need.
pork tenderloin
dry onion soup mix
water
red wine
minced garlic
soy sauce
pepper
Ok.............it's shamefully easy but tastes like it's from a restaurant and took a long time to make.
Place the meat in the slow cooker along with all of the other ingredients around it. Spread the minced garlic on top of the meat.
Then cover it and cook on low for 4 hours.
This is what it looks like after it's cooked and sliced.
Serve it with the liquid it cooked in. It is now an au jus.
I dip my meat in it. It is tender and tasty! Serve with sides. Easy Easy Easy!
Hope you'll give it a try.
Here is the printable recipe link.
I'll see you back here this Wednesday night for the Share Your Style party!

It sounds good and I bet is smell wonderful when cooking.
I use my slow cooker for pork often..It's so tender..Thanks for sharing your recipe!! Happy shopping..
Rhanks for this recipe - I think my husband would like it. I am not a huge pork tenderloin fan but he loves it. I can't believe you got that huge roast for $7 - ours around here would be3 times that much. Maybe I need to quit being a Yankee and become a belle and root for the Falcons next time? (Im kidding, I didn't even know who played in the SB, just wanted to find a way to work in the game in my comment, lol.)
Kelly I am SO excited about all your home changes! I *def* wanna know the carpenter tricks for raising cabinets. I need to in the bathroom big time. I think about it everyday. I want new, but these are just perfectly fine, just too low. : - )
Anyway, anxiously awaiting your posts on these changes! Hugs!
Sounds like some exciting redecorating going on at your house, Kelly...looking forward to seeing it all! The tenderloin looks delicious!
Oh...sounds like you have some great things going on in the house there but I bet you will be glad when it is all done.
That recipe sounds really great...and I love slow cooker recipes. I don't cook as much anymore since John can't eat regular food anymore.
Sorry the Falcons won...maybe WE will play you next year at the Superbowl...after all the trophy is named after Coach Lombardi...and I think we should get it back here again. lol xo Diana
I love using my slow cooker. I love how when you come home dinner is done and the house smells so good. I am definitely going to try this recipe soon. I can't wait to see all of your changes.
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. It sounds wonderful! I am always looking for something new to make for dinner. I just printed it and I plan to make it next week when my son and family come for a visit. Take care, Maria
Would you believe I never even bought a pork tenderloin until about 5 years ago? I had no idea how easy they were to cook. Now I buy them all the time. This recipe sounds delicious!
Hi Kelly,
I love to use the slow cooker especially in the winter months. This recipe looks yummy. Sorry your Falcons did not win but they sure are a great team. That was a great game to watch. I cannot wait to see all your new changes. They sound fabulous.

Kris
