Hello everyone!
Well, I did it again. I changed a few things in my bedroom. The reason? Well, since my walls are white and my draperies are neutral, and the bedding is white, it's just so darn easy to do! I could come up with just about any color scheme I wanted to in here and just by changing a few pillows and accessories it wouldn't cost much. So, that's what I did in my bedroom for the summer.
This time I added some cherry and pink. I don't want anything fussy just simple cottage style with a summery feel. I think I got it.
A simple change of pillow shams with a cherry paisley design got me off to the right start.
I also added a vintage grain sack with a red stripe to the bench.
On one side table, I added some cherry blossom branches to a pitcher and some books with prayer beads on top.
On the other side table, a simple white crock filled with white hydrangeas.
Adjacent to the bed, is a chair and ottoman covered in a ruffled blanket and some simple pillows.
It feels very summery in here now.

I don't have any fresh flowers in our bedroom - the only room without. My side of the bed has a stool that doesn't have space and Steve complains when I "decorate" his side of the bed.
And, Lulu's crate prohibits my having a bench at the foot of the bed. I miss it.
I think you got it just right too! I love the subtle touches of pink. Are those faux cherry blossom branches? They look very real, so I was just wondering. You always have a knack of picking out the perfect looking blooms and arranging them so beautifully. Love your bedroom!
