My Christmas Tree

As promised, I wanted to share my Christmas tree with you.  It sits in the front sitting room area off the foyer and family room.  I wanted to be able to put my tree in the foyer, but it was just too wide.  So, it will have to stay where it always goes.

So, come on in and let's look around.

My tree has green, brown, white, silver and copper colored balls on it.  I added some feathered friends to the tree as well as large pine cones and some glittery green picks for interest.

I swirled burlap ribbon around it and topped it off with pheasant feathers.

I created a vignette on the chest sitting under my wall hutch.

Even my secretary got a little Christmas cheer.

It looks so pretty lit up at night.

Hope you like the tour so far!  Next up is my foyer.

Kelly, it looks stunning. I love everything about it, it is so full and I also love how you incorporated the theme of feathers and same color through out. Come to my house and you would see a mismatch of whatever. You put me to shame. LOVE IT!

Wow this looks fantastic! It may have inspired me to get my act together and get the xmas stuff out and get started on the living room. Do you use a real tree? I worry about mine not lasting til xmas. I love how you did a woodland theme and used the feathers as the topper. It coordinates nicely with the mantel. I bet the secretary desk does look inviting at night...loved that night shot. I am going to have to do that.

Kelly I love your Christmas decor and everything you have been doing with the changes you have made in your home. I love your window treatments and your gorgeous wood floors. Will you keep the same color on the walls in the sitting room or will they be changing to Linen White?

Just Beautiful! The feathers for the tree top is so sophisticated! I love it! Trees are so pretty at night. I just love to turn out all the lights except the tree and have Christmas music playing.

Crazy beautiful Kelly! You took some awesome night shots too. I struggle with that. I love the burlap on the tree, very clever and looks so good.
